This strategic alignment will position both brands to effectively leverage their combined strengths as a single provider of motion solutions. The newly merged operation will function under the “Fasco” brand name, with headquarters in Springfield, Missouri.   Customers of both companies can expect a continued focus on their needs, while taking advantage of a stronger base of engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities. According to John Kunze, Fasco’s VP Business Leader, “this expansion will allow us to introduce a stream of innovative new products, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and noise reduction.”   Fasco and Jakel both manufacture a variety of electric motors and fans, used primarily in air moving systems.
